The next meeting of Tasley Parish Council is on Wednesday 19th January 2022 in Tasley Village Hall Church Lane at 7.00pm.
This is the meeting where the Council will formulate the budget and determine the Council Tax for the financial year 2022-23.
TASLEY PARISH COUNCIL NEEDS VOLUNTEERS FOR THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS:
Tasley Parish Council are hoping to start two very important projects for the Community in the near future.
1. Tasley Youth Project
The Parish Council would like to hold youth activities, mostly aimed for younger children, at Tasley Village Hall one evening a week. The activities would be run by volunteers with support from the Shropshire Youth Association and by a management committee.
We need volunteer youth workers and /or people to serve on the management committee. Training and support will be given.
2. Tasley Neighbourhood Plan
Tasley Parish Council is committed to producing a neighbourhood plan for the Parish. This is a planning policy document which will have real legal power and can influence the design of future housing development and the provision of infrastructure in the Parish.
We need to set up a steering group to produce the plan which must include members of the community and not just parish councillors.
NEITHER OF THESE PROJECTS CAN SUCCEED WITHOUT SUPPORT FROM THE WIDER COMMUNITY
3. Vacancy for a Parish Councillor
There is a vacancy for a member of the Parish Council. An opportunity to help shape and progress the projects listed above and help the community in many other ways.
